DescriptionBecome part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 teammates, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.This position is eligible for the Clinical Laboratory Incentive Program.Summary:Performs a variety of patient testing and administrative tasks in support of the clinical activities in the UNCHCS.Responsibilities:Demonstrates advanced level competencies in producing accurate laboratory test results which includes all levels of CLIA outlined testing and problem solving.Maintains and investigates problems with equipment, test results, specimens, and/or workflow.Demonstrates laboratory knowledge and skills while working independently.Evaluates laboratory testing requests for appropriateness and applies critical decision-making skills to reach conclusions about diagnostic testing needs.Participates on teams or perform special projects/assignments.Serves as a technical resource.Performs quality control, proficiency testing, and monitors accuracy and precision of laboratory testing.Prepares reagents and assists in the preparation of standard and control materials.Monitors levels of reagents and assists in maintaining supplies.Participates in teaching of multiple types of learners and training of new employees.Other duties as assigned.Other InformationOther information:Education Requirements:?
