Client Operations Manager

Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Director of Client Operations for a growing client organization. This key leadership position will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and client-facing operations, strengthening client relationships, improving processes, and creating an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through installation and ongoing client success. The ideal candidate is a strong sales and people leader who can bring structure, strategy, and accountability to the organization. This individual will lead the sales and installation teams, rebuild and standardize sales processes, strengthen existing client relationships, and ensure teams are working together toward shared growth and customer service goals. Salary ranges from $80K - $120K depending on experience, plus company growth and benefits. Key Responsibilities Serve as a key member of the company’s Leadership Team and contribute to overall business growth and strategy. Lead, manage, and develop the sales team and client-facing installation team. Rebuild, document, and implement a consistent and effective sales process. Establish clear sales goals, expectations, metrics, and accountability. Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for continued growth. Oversee the full customer journey from initial lead and sales engagement through installation and ongoing client success. Improve communication and handoffs between sales, installation, operations, and client service. Own and optimize the company’s CRM and other sales-related technology and systems. Monitor pipeline activity, sales performance, forecasting, and key performance metrics. Develop dashboards and reporting to provide leadership with clear visibility into sales activity and performance. Lead and coordinate sales, marketing, and advertising initiatives. Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and the client experience. Train and support team members on sales processes, systems, procedures, and best practices. Ensure client-facing installations are handled professionally and consistently. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in sales leadership, client management, sales operations, or a similar leadership role. Demonstrated success leading and developing sales teams. Experience developing, rebuilding, or improving sales processes and procedures. Strong client relationship management and customer service skills. Experience with CRM platforms and sales technology. Ability to analyze sales activity, pipeline performance, and key metrics to drive decisions. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and lead organizational change. Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on and involved in day-to-day execution. Strong commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and creating structure.
