Estimator For Steel Erection Projects
HCS is currently seeking an Estimator for Steel Erection Projects. The Estimator will be responsible for Estimating and Pre-Construction for a large variety of commercial and industrial structural steel projects. Responsibilities include:
- Estimating and quantity take-offs
- Preparing and managing bid packages
- Scheduling
- Cost control
- Managing RFI
- Subcontractor management
- Client relations
- Procurement
- Bid analysis and quality control
Requirements include:
- 1+ years' structural steel or miscellaneous metal estimating project experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
- Experience with Bluebeam or relevant estimating software a plus
- Experience with Fabtrol or Fabsuite a plus
- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team environment
