WCS Healthcare is partnering with a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center in Hamilton, NJ seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-service-oriented professional who enjoys working in a healthcare setting and providing patients with a positive experience from check-in through discharge.

The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling patient registration, payments, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Part-Time Opportunity
• Approximately 16-24 hours per week
• Typically 3 days per week
• Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling based on candidate availability

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Perform patient registration and check-in procedures
• Verify demographic and insurance information
• Collect patient payments, copays, deductibles, and procedure-related balances
• Assist with pre-surgery financial collections and preauthorization-related payments
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Schedule appointments and update patient records as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the patient experience

• Previous medical receptionist, front desk, healthcare administration, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center, medical office, or outpatient setting is a plus
• Knowledge of insurance verification and payment collection processes preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and standard office software
• Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
