In this contract position, you’ll provide speech-language pathology services, directly supporting students’ communication and academic success from August 17th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027. The part-time, structured schedule offers consistency and work-life balance—24 hours each week, covering Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Your expertise as an SLP (CCC preferred) will be critical in identifying and addressing a range of speech and language needs within the school environment. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff, delivering engaging, student-focused interventions and actively contributing to the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina SLP license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience or demonstrated ability in a school-based SLP role
• Strong assessment, therapy planning, and IEP documentation skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations of students with speech and language needs
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Providing direct and consultative therapy services
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Keeping accurate records and timely documentation as required by the district
• Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed
