AI Architect

Salary: $184,400 - 253,550 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, plus 10+ years of experience building AI/ML platforms in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Alternatively, we accept a 15+ year software engineering background in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience building AI/ML platforms.
• We need strong proficiency in Python and modern machine learning libraries.
• We expect experience with generative AI, large language models, transformer architectures, and advanced model routing across open-source and proprietary models.
• We look for hands-on experience with AI development tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
• We require deep expertise in enterprise-grade RAG systems, including advanced chunking, hybrid search, vector database management, and retrieval tuning.
• We need direct experience with autonomous AI agents and reasoning systems, including Agent-to-Agent communication protocols and the Model Context Protocol for multi-agent orchestration.
• We expect advanced capability in agent context management, including context window optimization, stateful memory injection, caching strategies, and long-running agent contexts.
• We require a proven track record in observability, logging, and scalable systems, including LLM and agent tracing for reasoning, token usage, and latency monitoring.
• We want a strong history of applying AI architectures to scalable enterprise platforms and complex use cases.
• We require solid experience with cloud platforms, on-premises deployments, and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with knowledge graph databases, NoSQL/SQL systems, and native vector databases, especially for GraphRAG and hybrid-retrieval designs.
• Preferred qualifications include strong experience with containerization and infrastructure as code tools such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, and Semantic Kernel.
• Preferred qualifications include a proven ability to take non-deterministic LLM and multi-agent architectures from concept to highly available production deployments.

• We will have you architect, design, and develop an AI platform that supports large language models for healthcare-specific language, regulatory needs, and ethical considerations.
• We will have you build frameworks for AI pipelines that process both structured and unstructured healthcare data, including FHIR, HL7, clinical notes, and claims data.
• We will have you contribute to domain-specific model architectures that enhance clinical decision-making, revenue cycle management, and patient engagement.
• We will have you serve as the primary technical authority for AI platform development within product teams.
• We will have you mentor junior AI designers and engineers through code reviews, research guidance, and technical workshops.
• We will have you lead internal knowledge sharing on emerging AI trends, frameworks, and best practices.
• We will have you implement robust model evaluation frameworks focused on accuracy, resilience, and fairness.
• We will have you ensure compliance with healthcare privacy and data security requirements, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
• We will have you partner with engineering teams to move research prototypes into production environments.
• We will have you comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while carrying out assigned duties.
