New Jersey - Customs Entry Writer

Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate U.S. Customs entry filings (formal, informal, and ISF) in compliance with CBP regulations and trade compliance requirements. Classify imported goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and determine applicable duties, taxes, and fees. Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping documents to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to filing. Communicate proactively with importers, freight forwarders, and internal operations teams to resolve documentation discrepancies and avoid customs delays. Monitor entry status with CBP, respond to requests for information (RFIs), and coordinate the release of cargo in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing trade regulations, free trade agreements, and import compliance best practices. Accurately record and archive all entry documents and correspondence in the company's customs management system. #J-18808-Ljbffr Caliber, Inc.
