While our roots are in luxury residential construction, we are expanding into the commercial sector with a major project in the Glassboro, NJ area. We're looking for an experienced construction professional to take the lead on this large-scale commercial build. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a high-visibility project and play a key role in the company's continued growth. Role Overview As the Commercial Construction Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of a major project–from early planning through final completion. This position requires a hands‑on leader who can coordinate teams, manage logistics, and ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Direct all stages of a commercial construction project, from pre-construction through closeout Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and execution plans Oversee subcontractor selection, agreements, and performance Conduct site visits and lead progress meetings to maintain alignment and momentum Review project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and payment applications Anticipate challenges and implement solutions to keep the project on track Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and contractual requirements Maintain organized and accurate project records using management software Provide leadership and direction to field personnel and support staff Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, with a strong commercial background Demonstrated success overseeing large and complex builds Solid understanding of contracts, scheduling, and cost management Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Experience with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar) Willingness to travel consistently to the Glassboro, NJ project site Highly organized with strong attention to detail Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000-$175,000 annually, depending on experience Paid Time Off: Two weeks of vacation plus eight paid holidays Retirement Plan: 401(k) Career Opportunity: Lead a major commercial project with high visibility Work Environment: Supportive leadership within a values‑driven organization Dudonis Construction is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
