Energy Services Project Manager

Job Summary Trane, located in Maitland, FL, is hiring an Energy Services Project Manager. The role is responsible for managing project financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction across all assigned projects. The Project Manager leads the team through all facets of the project and serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, overseeing a portfolio that may include small to complex multi‑building construction projects. Responsibilities Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and developing communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates. Lead all aspects of project administration, ensuring compliance with contract penalty clauses, liquidated damages, reporting, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements at state, city, county, federal, and local levels. Financially manage projects, including cash flow, monthly forecasts, cost at completion, expense monitoring, collections support, applied cost, and preparation of monthly backlog reviews with leadership. Validate scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, establishing customer expectations, identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans. Manage subcontractors: qualify, oversee RFQ processes, award subcontracts, manage execution, and establish communication guidelines for progress, billing, and safety. Create and maintain project schedules using tasks, dependencies, and milestones. Qualifications Preferred degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Project Management. 3–5 years of experience with project schedules and construction project management software. Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, and earned value management (EVM) or similar methodologies. Strong financial project management skills combined with technical or construction knowledge to manage scope, schedule, and risk. Experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record, free of major violations such as DUI, hit‑and‑run, license suspension, reckless driving, or multiple minor infractions in the past three years. Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $77,963.33 – $109,340.00. Compensation type: salary. Incentive eligible: yes. Sales commission eligible: no.
