Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Handle payroll inquiries from employees regarding paychecks, deductions, and benefits. Assist in the preparation of tax filings related to payroll. Process ACA forms annually. Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, wages, and deductions. Collaborate with human resources to ensure accurate employee information is reflected in payroll systems. Prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions as needed. Process employment verifications for new hires. Work Hours 7:30a-4:00pm Requirements Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist. Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and tax regulations. Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP is preferred. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
