Anesthesia Coding QA Specialist

Supporting the coding QA process, the full-time remote Anesthesia Coding QA Specialist III will manage clinical documentation reviews, ensure coding accuracy, and provide educational feedback to coders and providers. Key responsibilities Conduct coder QA and education, collaborating on performance improvement plans related to billing compliance Develop and present coding curriculums, maintaining operational workflow pathways and assisting coding leads Analyze coding data and assist with QA selection processes, while preparing tracking and trend reports Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with relevant post-secondary education or equivalent hands-on experience National certification and a minimum of 5 years' experience in physician coding, specifically in anesthesia/pain management National coding certification (AHIMA, AAPC) required Experience in revenue cycle, claim processing, and compliance auditing preferred Strong presentation and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred
