Group Fitness Instructor

Location: Thousand Oaks, N Moorpark Rd /W Hillcrest Position Overview Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. Essential Purpose: Engage and wow our members in every class by creating a sense of community with a fun results focused group workout where everyone feels successful. Key Responsibilities Answer questions and concerns of participants. Solicit feedback about the class. Be dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times. Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward members, while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes. Maintain Group Fitness Studio cleanliness. Perform building and equipment maintenance and safety duties. Engage in continuing education. Ensure timeliness and effective class management. Monitor class size and manage space effectively. Report safety incidents and injuries promptly. Qualifications & Experience Take ownership of results. Fight hard to win. Adapt quickly to various situations. Communicate with members and teammates with a customer service mentality. Be a team player and willing to help with any task. Be extremely organized. Be energetic. Serve as a great fitness role model and motivator. Display good musicality by staying on the beat (where applicable). Communicate clearly, especially when cueing. Be dependable. Required Certifications Must have a nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification. Must have a valid CPR/AED Certification. Pay Range $17.87 - $55 USD per hour.
