This role requires strong coaching skills, a passion for Pilates-based movement, and the ability to motivate members of all fitness levels in a safe, engaging environment. Successful candidates bring professionalism, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing an outstanding member experience at every class. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, high-quality FS8 classes following the daily programmed workouts. Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications for members of varying fitness levels and physical abilities. Maintain strong coaching presence with excellent cueing, energy, and engagement. Foster a welcoming, community-focused environment before, during, and after class. Arrive prepared, punctual, and professional for all assigned shifts. Assist with studio cleanliness, equipment setup/reset, and maintaining brand standards. Uphold FS8 policies, values, and code of conduct. Qualifications Required: Experience teaching Pilates, group fitness, yoga, or similar movement modalities. Strong understanding of anatomical principles and safe movement execution. Excellent verbal communication and motivational coaching skills. Ability to lead dynamic group classes and maintain high energy throughout class. Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional member service. Preferred: Pilates certification (Reformer/Mat/Comprehensive) — not required but strongly preferred. Prior experience teaching in boutique fitness or group training environments. CPR/AED certification Availability FS8 Thousand Oaks offers morning, midday, evening, and weekend classes.
