Step Into a Day of Precision in High Point, NC

When your day begins on the production floor for our client in High Point, NC, you’re the first line of defense for product reliability. You’ll move from incoming materials to in-process checks and finished goods, using keen observation and precise instruments to ensure every part aligns with drawings and specifications.

• Walk the line to inspect materials and components at multiple production stages, confirming they meet defined quality standards.
• Translate engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics into clear inspection criteria and acceptable tolerances.
• Perform both destructive and non-destructive tests to validate material properties and component integrity.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools (metric and standard) to verify dimensions and features.
• Capture measurements meticulously, enter data for analysis, and produce reports that highlight trends and deviations.
• Apply statistical quality control techniques to detect variation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with engineering and production to recommend refinements that enhance quality and throughput.
• Contribute to consistent quality and reliability standards across the operation.

• 2–4 years of trade school, vocational training, or relevant manufacturing experience (metalworking preferred).
• Fluency with precision measuring devices in both metric and imperial units.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with quality control processes and data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

• Comfort standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and handle lighter items frequently.
• Strong visual and hearing acuity to assess parts and monitor equipment.

• Manufacturing/production setting supporting a client in High Point, NC.
• Regular exposure to moving machinery, equipment noise, and industrial materials such as oils and cutting fluids.
