Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Developer to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions .

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK, BMIDE, SOA, Active Workspace (AWC), RAC , and enterprise PLM integrations. The role will involve working closely with engineering teams, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Siemens Teamcenter applications using:

  • ITK

  • SOA

  • RAC

  • BMIDE

  • Active Workspace (AWC)

• Develop and maintain both server-side and client-side Teamcenter customizations .

• Configure and enhance Teamcenter business objects, properties, rules, and data models using BMIDE .

• Develop and customize Active Workspace (AWC) components and functionalities.

• Create and maintain:

  • Workflows

  • Workflow handlers

  • User exits

  • Business rules

  • Custom services

• Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and CAD applications , including:

  • Siemens NX

  • SolidWorks

  • CATIA

• Integrate Teamcenter with enterprise systems such as:

  • SAP

  • Oracle ERP

  • Other downstream/upstream business applications

• Perform Teamcenter data migration using PLMXML, TCXML, and Teamcenter migration utilities .

• Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, performance, and production issues .

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and release activities.

• Create and maintain technical design documents, configuration documents, and deployment documentation.

• Collaborate with functional consultants, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Follow Teamcenter development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter Architecture

• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK

• Strong experience with BMIDE

• Experience with Teamcenter SOA

• Strong knowledge of Active Workspace (AWC)

• Experience with RAC customization

• Experience with Teamcenter workflows, handlers, exits, and business rules

• Knowledge of PLMXML and TCXML

• Experience with Teamcenter integrations

• Understanding of Teamcenter data model, business objects, datasets, and relations

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Teamcenter with NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA

• Experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms

• Knowledge of Teamcenter deployment, administration, and production support

• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades or migration projects

• Good understanding of PLM processes and engineering workflows
