Body Shop Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repairs. You will work closely with customers, technicians, and insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, estimating, along with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for parts and labor.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes and costs.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of estimates and payments.
• Assist in managing the body shop's workflow to optimize efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, repair techniques, and new technologies.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimating process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive sales or service management is preferred.
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and tools.
• Previous experience with insurance company relations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Valid license and able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Experience working in a dealership setting is advantageous.
