Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist specializing in supporting students’ growth and development. An opening is available to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 through December 2026, with potential for extension. This onsite role is based near Corona, CA and Santa Ana, CA, allowing you to bring your expertise directly to a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings
- Skilled in teletherapy platforms and related virtual tools
- Deep knowledge of fine motor skills development
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) and school documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable navigating a school environment and collaborating with educational teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop customized intervention plans
- Deliver both individual and group occupational therapy services onsite
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and progress reports
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support fine motor skills and adaptive behaviors
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state standards
