The Opportunity The Production Line Leader position is responsible for overseeing a production line within an Assembly and Contract Packaging plant, ensuring maximum productivity and quality. The starting rate is $20.00 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. You may apply online at and the application window is expected to close by 09/01/2026. Shift Details 1st shift: 5:15 a‑m – 2:15 p‑m (M‑F). Overtime and weekends as needed. Responsibilities Use the Work Order as a guide to individual job requirements and specifications. Set‑up line or assist with line set‑up as needed, using the line diagram. Responsible for inventory control, tracking and reconciliation of customer product and components, ensuring both are correct and properly placed on the line; maintain inventory for shift completion and start of next shift. Assign temporary staffing service employees to individual tasks on the line as outlined in the work order and train them accordingly. Oversee and monitor production flow; troubleshoot problems, make equipment adjustments, recommend and institute line improvements, and direct temporary staff labor issues to the Assembly Supervisor. Motivate temporary staffing service employees to maintain maximum production line efficiency and meet production goals. Ensure that the completed finished product meets all specifications; complete hourly quality checks to verify adherence to Company policies, SOPs, CGMPs, job‑specific instructions, and customer‑specific instructions. Accurately maintain all production paperwork, record and reconcile temporary staff labor hours, and enter production data into the computer system. Maintain line cleanliness through good housekeeping practices. Ensure safety on the line, adhere to all safety rules and programs, and attend required safety training. Communicate with other departments (warehouse, maintenance, quality assurance) as appropriate, and keep Supervisor apprised of issues related to the line. Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area. Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Overtime required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to effectively communicate with management and team members. Perform basic math functions. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Ability to perform tasks under pressure, and within a deadline‑driven environment. Attention to detail. General fluency in English required, both verbal and written. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or scheduled form. Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as a primary job responsibility. Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs intermittently during a typical work shift. Observance of established safety guidelines in conducting physical work activity duties. Wear protective equipment as required.
