Logistics Specialist 3

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation – Logistics Specialist III (St. Louis, MO) Support Gulfstream Service Center and Completions at the St. Louis airport. Duties include picking parts, delivering parts, performing cycle counts, handling non‑conforming parts, general warehouse responsibilities, and analytical problem solving. Responsibilities Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops, or distribution centers. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations. Coordinate material flow to support schedules and customer demands, including AOG and other critical needs. Resolve discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage international shipments and documentation. Obtain and maintain CDI, Q, PQ, or RI stamps as required. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Corridor). Support AOG needs. Adhere to safety and quality procedures, identify potential hazards, and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards. Handle, transport, and prepare shipments of Dangerous Goods in accordance with DOT, FAA, and other applicable standards. Mentor junior staff. Escalate discrepancies with clear communication and follow‑up actions. Support audits and reconciliation. Ensure adherence to brand protection and material handling standards. Perform regular cycle counting to support inventory accuracy goals. Use handheld scanners for picking, putaway, and cycle count activities. Assist in inventory audits and support Lean and sustainability initiatives. Perform other duties as required, including DOT, Hazmat, special offloads, customs, and carrier requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) years of experience in inventory or logistics. Advanced proficiency in inventory systems and Microsoft Office preferred. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to drive a transport van, box truck, and forklift. Must be able to obtain certification to operate forklift and other material handling equipment. Must be able to comply with FAA regulations and all quality procedures, including documentation. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license. Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English required.
