IT Financial Analyst

IT Financial AnalystThis position is a hybrid - part BA work but mostly financial analysis but mainly brainstorming, designing and implementing an asset management system. They will also maintain going forward.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs tasks with increasing complexity and tasks requiring detailed analysis and research. Creativity and independent decision making is required. Reports to OCIO Business Services Division Administrator.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, document, and manage the IT business processes associated with asset and license management for the OCIO and participating agencies.Develop, document, and manage the IT business processes associated with buying of goods and services for the OCIO and participating agencies.Work in conjunction with the OCIO contract managers to develop, document and manage the procurement of goods and services for the OCIO and participating agencies.Process, monitor and track IT financial transactions of the OCIO.Analyze the IT business, budget and financial trends of the OCIOCreate and delivery reports to OCIO management on the IT business, budget and financial trends of the OCIOPossess strong communication skillsAble to work on multiple concurrent projectsAbility to complete assignments timely and submit weekly status reports indicating progress of assigned tasks, performance against assigned project due dates, and identification and suggested resolution for issues having a potential to adversely impact performance and/or the project.Shall maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers, supervisors and customers and present a positive team environment and customer focus.Shall adhere to OCIO work rulesRequired Skills:Experience developing, documenting & managing IT business processes associated with asset & license managementExperience developing, documenting & managing IT business processes associated with buying of goods and servicesExperience working with contract managers to co-develop, document, and manage the procurement of goods and servicesExperience Processing, monitoring, and tracking IT financial transactionsExperience Analyzing IT business, budget and financial trendsExperience Creating and delivering reports to management on the IT business, budget, and financial trendsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
