Senior Network Automation Engineer

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, networking, automation, or related technologies
• Strong experience in complex enterprise environments, including network operations, systems integration, and infrastructure support
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation solutions using scripting languages, APIs, and automation frameworks
• Experience with network engineering and automation
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience supporting cloud and hybrid environments
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, version control, and deployment practices
• Ability to assess business and technical requirements, develop solutions, and manage work independently
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Applicants selected for this role will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Experience with cloud, hybrid, or large-scale infrastructure environments is preferred

• Design, develop, deploy, and support network automation solutions
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational processes using scripting and automation tools
• Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions and deployment pipelines
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and integrations
• Implement testing, monitoring, validation, and change-management processes
• Troubleshoot automation, infrastructure, networking, and system integration issues
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Support enterprise network, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, security, and infrastructure issues
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and service restoration
• Evaluate technologies and recommend process improvements
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technology solutions
• Communicate with technical and business stakeholders

Compensation depends on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, applicable union contracts, and business needs; the posted range may be adjusted, and compensation is not considered earned or payable until it is earned, vested, and determinable. This role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
