Veterinary Technician - Neurology

Do you want an opportunity to work with some of the brightest veterinary professionals in this industry? As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, You Will Set up constant rate infusions (CRI). Calculate all medical math, including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc). Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia. Set up for MRI and CT procedures. Discharge neuro patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as manual bladder expression, sling walking, and range of motion. Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values. Perform call backs and refill medications. Client education, gather histories, and communicate them to the clinician. Perform a physical exam; accurately count heart rate, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate, and effort. Understand normal vital parameters. Be comfortable with IVC placement and venipuncture. Operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps and troubleshoot errors. Restrain patients during consults and diagnostics. Why BluePearl?
