The ideal candidate must have prior LTC experience and strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills.\n Position Highlights:\n Start Date: September 29, 2026\n Contract: 13 weeks\n Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM\n Schedule: 8-hour day shifts\n Provide speech-language pathology services to residents in an LTC setting.\n Assess patients and develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs and potential.\n Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and facility personnel.\n Apply knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system.\n Utilize Epic/EMR and Microsoft Office.\n Requirements:\n LTC experience required\n Graduate of a college/university accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)\n Degree in Speech-Language Pathology\n Current New York State SLP license\n Eligible for or holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA\n Excellent communication and patient assessment skills\n Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Epic/EMR\n Knowledge of PDPM reimbursement\n Assignment Details:\n Facility: Mohawk Valley – Rehabilitation and Nursing Center\n Location: Utica, New York\n Department: MVHS-RNC-Barton East\n Specialty: Speech-Language Pathologist – LTC\n Contract: Travel\n Local Candidates: Accepted within the 75-mile radius\n Patterns Hiring Job ID #AN-0372-0911.
