Clinical Care CoordinatorNBI offers specialized psychological assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults at multiple locations in South Florida. NBI provides outpatient and intensive treatment, including an internationally recognized intensive treatment program for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Severe Anxiety, and Related Disorders. These programs are often provided in combination with NBI Ranch, our nearby residential support program.Our mission is simple: The NBI team puts safety first to provide extraordinary care, elevate others, go beyond best, and create great lives.We are seeking a Clinical Care Coordinator who will be responsible for managing communication between patients, family members, and care providers. The CCC will manage patient care plans, keep patient schedules up to date, and act as a liaison between the patient and clinician by keeping the lines of communication flowing.Duties:Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions including billing and preparation.Manage and coordinate an assigned number of care plans.Educate patients on care plans, discuss cost of service, and payment optionsFollow up on patient intakes including collecting required information and sending and reviewing formsKeep clinician calendars up to dateProvide information on all NBI servicesCreate progress notes for CliniciansManage patient accounts including contact information, financial information and medical records in a confidential manner.Answer patient calls, and emails and resolve all inquiries requestsGreet and check in patientsCheck emails daily for patient cancelations / updates and Clinician updatesProvide community resources and referrals for continuing careKeep Office supplies inventoryAnswer phone calls/ Redirect phone calls to appropriate personPerforms other clerical or admin duties as assigned.Required Experience and Education:High School degree requiredAssociates Degree or Undergraduate Degree PreferredPrevious customer service experience preferredPrevious experience in a clinical setting preferredExperience with Microsoft office and TEAMS a mustRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent verbal/written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skill. (bilingual in Spanish preferred).Ability to promote and maintain a flexible, positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude within and between departments.Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with the patients and staff.Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and respect.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and commitment to quality.Knowledge of clinical terminology, spelling and office ethicsExcellent administrative, data entry, and customer service skills.Must be able to multi task, learn quickly and adapt to change easily.Excellent prioritization skills.High level of professionalism and demonstrated comfort level in speaking directly to external and internal customers/vendorsMust be able to handle sensitive patient information and honor the confidentiality of all patient records.
