Job Family:Operational Effectiveness ConsultingTravel Required:Up to 10%Clearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:Our Financial Management Transformation professionals help our clients in Defense and National Security optimize all elements of their financial management structure by transforming business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, improving transparency and performance management, promoting change management, and complying with Federal laws and regulations.This project requires self-motivated individuals who are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our client’s senior management, and to enhance their skills in technical competency, business development, client service, and people development. Our team provides specialized experience and knowledge in financial management, process analysis, risk management, and performance measurement to support project activities.Team members will operate in a hybrid environment and are expected to collaborate at client office or Guidehouse office 2-3 days per week.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Assess current-state processes and identify pain points Develop flow charts and process mapsGather and document requirements and user storiesCollaborate with developers and client stakeholdersSupport testing activities and track resultsDevelop SOPs, job aids, and training materialsProvide routine progress reportingFacilitate internal meetings and client-facing discussionsSupport agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standups, retrospectives)What You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related fieldTHREE (3) or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, project management, or similar. Experience should include, but not be limited to:Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing discussions and meetingsSupporting client meetings and presenting recommendations to senior-level leadershipUtilizing project management best practicesWorking in teams to produce high-impact work productsDocumenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvementsConducting research to investigate client problems and working collaboratively with a team to formulate and recommend solutionsWhat Would Be Nice To Have:FIVE (5) or more years of experience in business analysis, consulting, financial management, process improvement, product management, project management, or similar.Certifications in project management, Agile, Scrum, change management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe, CCMP) and/or strong understanding of these concepts, or interest in obtaining these certificationsExperience with change management or organizational design, especially in financial and human resource environmentsThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
