Release Management Architect

Responsibilities Excellent communication required to ensure that the release manager is able to work collaboratively with all teams in a software development process, including developers, testers, IT management, and project managers to ensure that changes and the release process is according to a timeframe. As a release manager focus more on day-to-day changes to help successfully deploy a project with the least disruption possible. Ability to coordinate multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed in time with the release schedule. Lead and contribute towards making improvements in the release process and documentation. Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases for multiple applications that exist within the business. Facilitate the Go‑Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. Run the production deployment calls, coordinate and track the task progress, communicate the final results of the release (success/rollback) and closely monitor post‑production issues/incidents. In‑depth knowledge of common agile methodology and/or classical procedural models (e.g., SCRUM or ITIL) and presentation techniques. Take part in CAB meetings to discuss the release scope and any blockers. Experience with build and release management, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process and tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines. Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, ADO Boards, Remedy, ServiceNow, Azure Dev Ops Pipelines, JIRA and Wiki. Strong knowledge of Web and Mobile Applications. Soft skills: Leadership, Problem‑solving and analytical skills. Resolve and elevate impediments, manage risk, assure value delivery, and drive program‑level continuous improvement.
