This is a clinic-only role. The nurse will assist with inbasket management, scheduling, and patient education. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. There is no requirement to float between units. Weekend work and on-call duties are not required. Candidates must be willing to commit to working three of the five major holidays. References covering professional experience will be required during the compliance process before starting. This role includes duties such as interpreting laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and obtaining vital signs. Candidates will need to perform dressing changes and set up sterile procedure trays. Telephone triage and follow-up calls are also part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience documenting within an electronic charting system. No specific community hospital experience is necessary. Prior charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.
