The position will not float between units. On-call and weekend shifts are not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Special requirements include working three of the five designated holidays. Responsibilities include providing family care, internal medicine, and urgent care. Candidates should be familiar with interpreting laboratory results and medication reconciliation. Skills such as obtaining vital signs, performing dressing changes, and setting up aseptic procedure trays are essential. Experience with telephone triage and follow-up phone calls is also necessary. Candidates will need to be able to conduct pharmacy calls and patient refill requests. Applicants must be prepared to provide references covering recent work experience. This role may involve floating to nearby facilities if required. Candidates will not be allowed to contact facility personnel directly without prior communication. Cell phone communication devices will be provided for job duties as needed. All modules completed pre-start and during orientation will be non-billable. Candidates may be expected to work a specific schedule and must request time off in advance. Compliance with all requirements and expectations is mandatory for contract retention.
