Maintenance Technician Job Details
Monday - Thursday with Friday as an overnight shift | 8:00pm to 6:15am |

• Overtime possible and mandatory
  

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• Experience in foundry environment or heavy industrial experience preferred
  
• Perform entry-mid level diagnosis, repair and maintenance on mechanical or electrical foundry equipment
  
• Will provide training on 1st shift then transition to 3rd shift.
  
• Could be a temp to hire or direct hire based on experience level.
  

About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician , your responsibilities will include:

• Perform self directed reactive and planned maintenance which includes but is not limited to observe devises in operation to locating root cause of problems
  
• Dismantling machinery to gain access and to remove and replace defective parts
  
• Examine defective parts to detect imperfections
  
• Higher-level positions should contain at least 10 responsibilities
  
• Adjustments of functional machinery and system control components
  
• Analyze and troubleshoot machine failures
  
• Act as a proactive maintenance liason to the plant engineer
  
• Provide assistance to the machine operators and production personnel as required for optimal production, asset performances, and reliability
  
• May be required to set up and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to Lathe, drill press, grinders, welding power supplies and other metal working tools to make and repair parts and /or equipment.
