Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join our New York office. The Associate will play a critical role in leading transaction execution, developing client relationships, mentoring junior team members, and supporting business development initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory assignments across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings, and other strategic advisory transactions. Build, review, and oversee complex financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, merger, and LBO analyses. Prepare and review pitch books, client presentations, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other marketing materials. Coordinate due diligence processes with clients, legal counsel, accountants, lenders, and other advisors. Analyze financial statements, operating performance, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to support client recommendations. Manage multiple live transactions while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to tight deadlines. Mentor and supervise Analysts by reviewing financial models, presentations, and analytical work. Support senior bankers in client meetings, negotiations, and business development efforts. Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. 3–6 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a closely related corporate finance environment. Proven experience executing M&A and capital markets transactions. Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills. Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, and financial statement analysis. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
