Aircraft Structures A&P Mechanic in Piston Engine Aircraft
Location: Wichita, KS Employment Type: Full-Time About Client We are seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant certification to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role focuses on performing structural repairs and modifications for piston-powered aircraft, including Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, and other general aviation platforms. Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $25 - $33 per hour (depending on experience)
- Shift: Day shift (with flexibility depending on operational needs)

- Perform structural repairs, modifications, and fabrication on airframes in compliance with FAA and OEM specifications.
- Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft sheet metal, composites, and structural components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and documented per FAA regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to maintain quality standards and operational timelines.
- Valid FAA A&P Certificate required.
- 2+ years of experience with aircraft structural work, preferably on piston aircraft (Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.).
- Proficient in sheet metal fabrication, riveting, and composite repairs.
- Ability to interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
