Transportation Coordinator

This is a full time position. CNA certification preferred.
Essential Functions
Employee will be responsible for coordination and transportation of the residents to their destinations safely and on time. Following established safety precautions, comfort and privacy of residents, communicating and interacting with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisor.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
The role requires regular walking around facility and in community, outside weather conditions while pushing/pulling wheelchairs, must be able to lift and move items and residents weighing at least 50 pounds. This is a very active position. It requires standing, walking, bending, stooping and kneeling on a regular basis.
Position Type and Expected Hours of work
This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24hours a day 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holidays.
