Workers Compensation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its practice in Fort Myers, Florida. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, contributing to the development of a statewide workers' compensation practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle a steady influx of cases. Duties Manage day-to-day handling of cases and hearings. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions. Guide clients through the case process. Interact with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from a fully accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association. Minimum of 3+ years of workers' compensation experience. Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active membership with the Florida State Bar Association. Skills Strong case management abilities.
