What You'll Do

• Provide specialized care to pediatric patients with diagnoses such as MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, and post-op neuro or orthopedic conditions
• Titrate medications and fluids, including pressors, insulin, heparin, and pain meds
• Manage telemetry monitoring, venipuncture, and IV therapy (PIV, CVL)
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including RT, hospitalists, and intensivists
• Support family-centered care and patient safety in a dynamic ICU environment
• Adapt to float between PICU, Adult ICU, and Med/Tele units as needed
• Follow hospital protocols and comprehensive EMR documentation via Meditech Expanse

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (NRP preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years PICU experience
• Strong skills in PIV, CVL, telemetry, and titration of critical medications

• Experience with adult ICU or Med/Tele units
• Cross-trained to float across critical care settings
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
