- Understands and can provide assembly assist of metal fabricated modular buildings, accomplishing all basic tasks with limited supervision.
- Follows blueprints and accurately reads taped measurements.
- Understands and recognizes basic construction principles, square, level, & plumb.
- Fastens limited listing of metal products together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Assists higher assembly levels with repairs and rework of basic items as directed prior to building or enclosure shipment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year previous assembly/fabrication (preferably in metal working environment) or construction experience.
- Ability to operate hand, power, and various air and pneumatic tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently, stand, lift, bend, reach frequently throughout shift.
