2nd shift Assembler

Job Full Description

We're currently hiring Assemblers for a top employer in the Fitchburg area. We have 1st and 2nd shift openings, with potential for hire after completion of evaluation period.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assembling components utilizing hand tools and fixtures into high quality products.
• Practicing safe practices and upholding quality and safety standards.
• Training new employees on procedures and assembly techniques.
• Testing new product.
• Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements regarding product design and assembly in an effort to create quality and user-friendly products.
• Assist in defining assembly process & work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience using hand tools

• Ability to read and understand measuring instruments

• Must not be allergic to fiberglass, plastic, glue, or insulation

• Should have good dexterity and body flexibility

• Must be able to use a computer to view work instructions, enter production data and operate test equipment

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for up to 10 hours while performing work at waist level

• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain strict attendance standards.

Schedule:


1st shift: Candidates need availability 5am - 2pm Mon - Fri


2nd shift: Candidates need availability 1pm - midnight Mon - Thurs

Pay:

• 1st shift: $19/hour
• 2nd shift: $19.50/hour

Upon hire at completion of probationary period, pay will jump to $21+/hour.
