2027 Commercial Real Estate Summer Analyst Program

Internship Overview Join the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) group at J.P. Morgan as a 9‑week Summer Analyst. The program offers orientation, training, and hands‑on experience in one of three CRE sub‑lines: Real Estate Banking (REB), Community Development Banking (CDB), or Agency & Institutional Capital (AIC). You will conduct credit and financial analysis, industry research, and network with peers and senior managers. Sub‑Lines Real Estate Banking (REB) Community Development Banking (CDB) Agency & Institutional Capital (AIC) Key Responsibilities Build financial models to support financing transactions Assist in completing credit approval memos, pre‑screen memos, and sponsor analyses Prepare marketing materials for client meetings covering financing alternatives and industry trends Develop an understanding of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings Locations (per Program) REB – Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Irvine, Houston, New York, San Francisco CDB – Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC AIC – Chicago, Irvine, New York Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028 Strong interest in Commercial Real Estate Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills Strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics preferred Immigration & Sponsorship Authorization to work in the U.S. is required. This program does not offer employment‑based immigration sponsorship or support for OPT/CPT.
