Urology Physician

Opportunity: Physician - Urology

Job Details:

Inpatient coverage with 24-hour beeper call schedule

Looking to add 1-2 locum providers to the current pool to help primarily with call coverage

Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with providers scheduled for 3 or 4 24-hour call shifts per week

Additional shifts may be scheduled if provider is comfortable with the census and working several 24-hour call shifts consecutively

Average callback is approximately 4-5 hours daily, varying based on cases

Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift

Board certification required

Active license or IMLC required; DEA required

BLS certification required

Urology surgical skills required, specifically General Urology with adult patient experience

Preferred skills include: percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
