Strategic Accounting Outsource Solution (SAOS) is seeking a curious and organized go-getter for an exciting Implementation Specialist/Consultant. Experience in the Accounting industry, IT Savvy and strong attention to detail are essential for this role. Responsibilities/Duties

? Responsible for leading successful implementation & onboarding projects for new clients as they migrate from their historical GL system to the SAOS tech stack including the core GL system of Sage Intacct & complimentary systems for AP & credit card management, etc.

? Analyze and document system, reporting and accounting requirements.

? Working toward this person designing the structure of the system with support from our Director of Implementation

? Possesses & contributes knowledge of core accounting processes to improve clients current workflows - willing to challenge the client's thought process to create change

? Comfortable consulting clients on business process pain points

? Involved in implementing advanced modules and seeing the big picture concept of the Sage Intacct environment

? Comfortable conducting training to end users of tech stack, especially Sage Intacct

? Creates and manages a project plan for the onboarding projects & communicates the progress to the client in an effective manner.

? Builds client relationship to gain trust and ensure a smooth transition

? Oversight, management, and coaching of implementation team members to ensure implementation goes according to the design plan

? Timely communication with clients and team members

? Coordinates the hand-off process from the implementation team to the ongoing accounting team once onboarding is complete

? Provide ongoing consulting to clients after go-live (ex: phase 2 integrations of 3rd party data)

? Research new technology available in the accounting industry to allow for continuous improvements & recommendations to clients and team

? Capable of performing Controller function as necessary

? Assists in developing accounting procedures and recommending changes

? Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

? Troubleshoot accounting and technology/software issues

Qualifications

? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field

? 10+ years of experience in the Accounting Industry

? 3+ years of Sage Intacct experience (user or implementor)

? Ability to build reports and dashboards in Sage Intacct

? Proficient in accounting and client relationship management

? Fundamental knowledge of GAAP accounting

? Project Management Certification preferred but not required

? Exceptional communication skills for internal and client facing discussions

? Strong excel skills

? Strong attention to detail

? Extremely organized

? Positive “Can-Do” attitude

? Independent work ethic and able to solve problems on your own
