• Job: Pediatric Dental Assistant.

• Location: 2500 S. Eola Rd. Aurora, IL 60503.

Schedule: 

• Monday-Thursday from 9:00 to 6:00, Friday from 9:00 to 4:30.
• 45min to 1 hour lunch break.
• No Weekends.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour.

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week.

Experience: Candidates with experience in dentistry preferred, but those without experience encouraged to apply.

Our Pediatric Dental office located in Aurora, is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our friendly team. We are a non-corporate, privately owned practice who value each other and our patients. We strive to provide the best dental care to our young patients and pride ourselves on patient and family experience. Must love working with children and their families.

We are seeking an organized and self-sufficient staff member who has the ability to multitask, be friendly, energetic, and reliable. We are seeking an individual who is willing to learn and grow with our practice. We are willing to train the perfect candidate!

Office duties would include but not limited to:

• Assist doctor with various dental procedures.
• Maintain sterilization area.
• Prepare operatories.
• Ability to obtain radiographs.
• Ability to chart electronically.
• Maintain dental equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Great communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable.
• Experience in dental assisting.
• Experience with Open Dental (or other dental software).
• Works independently and stays productive.
• Takes direction well.
• Coronal Polishing and/or Sealant certificate is a plus.

Experience:

• Customer Service 1 year (preferred).
• Open Dental 1 year (preferred).
• Dental Terminology 1 year (preferred).
• Computer Skills 1 year (preferred).
• Coronal Polishing Certificate (preferred).
• Sealant Certificate (preferred).

Note: However, willing to train those without experience.
