Now Hiring: Events Associate | Chicago, IL We're partnering with a highly respected nonprofit organization in downtown Chicago to identify an experienced Events Associate to join their Meeting & Events team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a beautiful, newly designed event and collaboration space while supporting a mission-driven organization making a meaningful impact. Location: Chicago, IL Schedule: Hybrid (2+ days onsite, with additional onsite time based on event schedules) Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $28-$35/hour What You'll Do Coordinate and execute a wide variety of meetings and events from planning through onsite execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for a collaborative event space, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and stakeholders. Partner with internal teams, vendors, caterers, and AV partners to deliver seamless events. Manage event timelines, logistics, room setups, registrations, and vendor coordination. Support additional meetings and special events across the organization as needed. Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the guest experience. What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, venue operations, conference services, or a related field. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable learning new technology and event management tools. Bachelor's degree preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
