Job Description
Title: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Schedule:
Shift: Day - 3x12
Hours: 0700-1930
36 hours per week

Assignment Details:
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice
- Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Certification as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Initiate the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments under appropriate supervision.

Compliance / Notes:
- Participate in required education for applicable programs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
