Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) | Hermiston, Oregon | Start: 08/07/2026 | 13‑week assignment | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 3×12‑hour days | Setting: Critical Access Hospital Key Highlights Pay: $2,042–$2,084 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12‑hour days Start date: 08/07/2026 Setting: Med/Surg in a Critical Access Hospital Travel assignment with dedicated support Responsibilities Provide direct and individualized nursing care to adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response. Initiate the computerized Plan of Care on admission and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Perform general nursing duties across departments under appropriate supervision; float to other units as qualified. Maintain patient confidentiality, convey empathy, and communicate therapeutically with patients and families from diverse backgrounds. Support hospital mission and participate in required education for applicable programs (e.g., DNV‑related curricula). Requirements Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required). Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN/MSN preferred. Previous Medical‑Surgical nursing experience preferred. CRASE training may be required if the travel assignment extends beyond 6 months. Ability to work in a hospital setting that may involve floating to other departments as needed. Travel eligibility and ability to comply with assignment expectations.
