At KPMG, we believe nothing is more important than investing in our culture because it's an investment in our people, our future, and what we stand for as a firm.KPMG is currently seeking a Associate/Senior Associateto join our Valuations practice.Responsibilities:Develop a unique ability to combine knowledge of Real estate, machinery and equipment, and personal property valuation with financial reports, tax planning, and general consulting purposesReview and analyze fixed asset ledgers or inventoried listings specific to the property, plant, and equipment accounts on the general ledgerConduct site visits, both international and domestic, at client sitesAssist with reviewing third-party valuationsPresent analysis, assumptions and conclusions to senior leadershipPrepare valuations for a variety of tangible assets (real estate, machinery & equipment, and personal property)Qualifications:Minimum one year of recent valuation or financial analysis experience in a professional setting, preferably with a consulting firmBachelor's degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, business or related degree from an accredited college/universityExperience with developing the following valuation concepts: Trending Method of the Cost Approach, Replacement Cost Method of the Cost Approach, Liquidation Analysis, and In-Utility AnalysisBasic knowledge of accounting policiesExceptional written and verbal communication skills, advanced Excel skills, and strong research skillsAbility to work well in a team environment and independentlyApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for US work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
