Essential Gig Functions

• Show Stopping Coordination: Manage the spotlight for city-sponsored and co-sponsored events. Providing dazzling entertainment, sponsorships that steal the show, and logistics that run smoother than a guitar riff.
• Budget Maestro: Jam out with the Events and Outreach Division Director, crafting and managing event budgets, handling contracts, and keeping event expenses in harmony.
• Crew Captain: Lead the city staff working events – recruit and manage the ultimate crew of volunteers to keep the show running like clockwork.
• Vendor Vibe: Secure vendors like headlining acts, compile a rockstar vendor database, and ensure your inventory of supplies and equipment is always stage-ready.
• Captivating Creativity: work with the events and marketing team to keep Suwanee’s events creative, fresh and #1 on the charts!
• Scheduling Symphony: Plan and organize event schedules for private, city-sponsored, and co-sponsored events – because timing is everything.
• Promotional Power: Join forces with the Events and Outreach Division Director to promote city facilities and entice potential private event organizers with the city's star power.
• Private Event Planner: Collaborate on private event planning, coordinating schedules, fees, and regulations to make every private event a chart-topping success.
• Sponsorship Seeker: Channel your inner talent scout and seek sponsorships to cover the costs of some epic events.
• Committee Collaborator: Team up with committees for event planning – because collaboration is the key to a harmonious event.
• Market Maven: Take charge of the annual farmer's market – coordinate schedules, recruit and retain vendors like a pro!
• Social Media Virtuoso: Amplify the city's vibes by assisting with social media efforts for the City of Suwanee and Suwanee Fest pages.

Qualifications for the Main Stage:

• Educational Anthem: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a field that grooves with event coordination.
• Experience Solo: Boast three (3) years of experience coordinating and marketing events – your resume should be a mixtape of your greatest hits.
• Equivalent Star Quality: If you've got an equivalent combo of education, training, and experience that makes you the rockstar this city needs, bring it on!
