Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Shape the future of student success by stepping into a school-based psychologist role for the 2026–2027 academic year. Openings are available in both South and Central Houston, with a contract beginning July 30, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. This is a full-time opportunity, with on-site responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Texas School Psychologist credential or licensure (must be provided at application)
- Previous experience in a school-based psychology role is essential
- Willingness to work on-site in Houston throughout the duration of the academic year
- Availability for a standard full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Reliable transportation for commuting between sites as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and student evaluations in alignment with district policies
- Participate in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth and achievement
- Provide consultation and counseling services as needed, assisting in crisis intervention and behavioral planning
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all state and district reporting requirements
