Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with 48 treatment spaces
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and intervention for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New York
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with high patient volumes and managing multiple acuity levels simultaneously
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills under pressure
