Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location

Elmira, NY | Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid Shift (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 48-treatment-space Emergency Department
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 throughout the shift
• Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate timely and effective treatment
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or large-capacity emergency department
• ACLS and/or TNCC certification preferred
• Strong triage and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
