About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Nuclear Development in the New Nuclear sector. This executive will be a pivotal member of the Energy Services & Development management team, responsible for setting the strategic direction and internal policies related to the organization's nuclear development projects. The role involves providing leadership in business development, planning, and executing multi-billion-dollar new nuclear facilities, as well as managing contracted activities with public utility districts and nuclear technology developers. The successful candidate will be expected to create and communicate a vision for nuclear development, apply sound leadership principles, and ensure the highest industry standards in managing vendors and personnel. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science, with a minimum of 15 years of progressive management and leadership experience, including a background in large engineering, procurement, and construction projects. The role requires a leader who can foster a culture of safety, environmental protection, and cost efficiency, and who is adept at managing financial consultants and contractors. The Vice President will also be responsible for developing future leaders, engaging with industry groups, and interfacing with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the nuclear or energy sector, with the ability to eliminate organizational barriers and ensure effective coordination with corporate and industry partners.
