Part Time Program Manager (Winnetka)

Program Manager Right At School is seeking a Program Manager to oversee before and after school programs in local school districts, ensuring safe, engaging, and enriching environments for children. Location: Winnetka, Illinois Pay Rate: $21–$26 per hour (based on education and experience) Program Hours: Mon‑Fri: 6:45 AM‑8:30 AM & 2:45 PM‑6:00 PM Applicants must be available to work all five days for both time‑blocks and be 18 years or older. Responsibilities Ensure safety and joy standards are met by supporting staff understanding of roles, maintaining site documentation and licensing standards, outlining attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures, and ensuring program tasks are completed effectively. Co‑coach staff, foster respectful relationships, and address challenges promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity. Consistently support and report on safety protocols, including identifying and submitting proof of MMR. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 18 years of age. Experience working with children, including knowledge of special needs. Coursework or training in child development or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication skills—oral, written and visual—with adults and children. Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community. Familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn. Illinois State Requirements First‑Aid and CPR certification in person. Cleared tuberculosis test.
